Have you ever been to Build a Bear Workshop before? If you haven't, don't go there. The reason i am saying this is because you can crochet you own TEDDY!! :D I made a teddy recently, and I fell in love with it. Here is the pattern:
Materials
- Worsted Weight Yarn
- Size 2.00 mm crochet hook.
- Yarn needle
- Stuffing
- Scissors
- Size 9mm safety eyes
- Tan felt
- Glue gun
- Pink embroidering thread
HEAD:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6sc into the 2nd ch away from the hook
Rnd 2: 2 sc in every st around. ( 12 sts)
Rnd 3: sc 1, 2 sc into the next st. Repeat around.( 18 sts)
Rnd 4: sc 2, 2sc into the next st. Repeat around. ( 24 sts)
Rnd 5: sc 3, 2 sc into the next st. Repeat around. ( 30 sts)
Rnd 6:sc 4, 2 sc into the next st. Repeat around. (36sts)
Rnd 7-13: sc in every st around
Rnd 14: sc 5, dec. Repeat around ( 36 sts)
Rnd 15: sc 4, dec. Repeat around.(30 sts)
Rnd 16: sc 3, dec. Repeat around. (24 sts)
Rnd 17: sc 2, dec. Repeat around. (18 sts)
Stuff the head.
Rnd 18: sc 1, dec. Repeat around. ( 12 sts)
Rnd 19: dec around. (6 sts)
BO with a long tail for seaming.
BODY:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the 2nd ch away from the hook.
Rnd 2: 2sc in every st around
Rnd 3: sc 1, 2 sc into the next st. Repeat around. ( 18 sts)
Rnd 4: sc 2, 2 sc into the next st. Repeat around. ( 24 sts)
Rnd 5-8: sc in every st around.
Rnd 9: sc 2, dec. Repeat around. ( 18 sts)
BO
EARS:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6sc into the 2nd ch away from the hook
Rnd 2: 2 sc in every st around ( 12 sts)
Rnd 3: sc 1, 2 sc into the next st. Repeat around ( 18 sts)
Rnd 4 and 5: sc in every st around
BO
ARMS( make 2):
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the 2nd ch away from the hook
Rnd 2-4: sc in every st around ( 6 sts)
BO
LEGS:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the 2nd ch away from the hook
Rnd 2: 2sc into every st around
Rnd 3 and 4: sc in every st around
Stuff the piece.
Rnd 5: dec around ( 6 sts)
Rnd 6: sc in every st around
BO
TAIL:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the 2nd ch away from the hook
Rnd 2: sc in every st around
BO
Finishing
Stuff body and sew it on the bottom of the head. Sew the ears on top of the head. Sew the arms on the middle of the body and sew the legs on the bottom of the body. Sew the tail on the bottom back of the body. Weave in loose ends.
